Overview
This was client work designed for Sports Management Network, check out the finished site here.
Sports Management Network (SMN) wanted a dynamic parallax site with a clean look that showcased their services and achievements. I managed asset collection, producing site images, and the overall design of the site. All copy was provided.
The home page opens paying homage to their tagline “Our experience. Your success.” With rotating clips of various victories SMN’s clients have experienced. Generous spacing, strong images, and movement were used throughout with the parallax format to retain visitor attention. Each section contains a link to those areas specific page as an alternative from main navigation. Since the site has a large height, a scroll to top button was added removing the burden of going back up for the user.
The mobile version contains the same elements as a stacked layout, with the subtraction of the landing video to assist in quick loading and less data consumption for users.
SMN is proud of who they do work for, so it was important to them to showcase that. They also didn’t want to show any favoritism, so the client order is always randomized. It was also important for them to categorize their clients, so a sorting option was included under the header. Not everyone is recognizable, so the client’s name appears when hovering over.
Individual client pages were given the ability to navigate by going back and forth without returning to the client landing page. When hovering over the next or previous arrow, it pulls up a thumbnail and quick description for added convenience.
