One Piece GIF

Wire Topography
A series of art using the topography of various ski mountains in Colorado and Utah. Created with reclaimed wood and wire.
To keep with the outdoor and rugged backcountry theme, the wood was kept at slightly uneven lengths for the canvas and the wire was painted white / gold to compliment the wood color without adding too much contrast.

A couple label posters created for beers brewed for public tasting competitions.
Ninth Wonder is a concept I chose to represent an Altbier. It’s an old-style German beer that I would consider lesser known and certainly a less popular style here. Playing into the lack of familiarity, I wanted to create curiosity and interest into the style as the ninth wonder of the world. Reminiscent of an old sci-fi book cover, I created an abstract image with strong angles that fade, gives it an implied structure that plays with pareidolia.

New Boot Goofin' is a riff on a traditional German style Pilsner. Similar to an IPA, hops were added after fermentation for a burst of flavor / aromas like pleasant fruitiness, tangerine, and citrus notes. Drawing inspiration from the “Reno 911” TV show for both the name and white cowboy boot (genuine ostrich), I filled the boot with bright florals and tangerines to mimic the expected sensory experience of the beer. This creates an image of a non-traditional bouquet, playing into the non-traditional way of brewing a Pilsner. A new goof on a traditional style.
